MOUNTAIN BIKING

Nepal’s diverse terrain is a mountain biker’s dream adventure comes true. Mountain biking offers an environmentally sound way of exploring this magnificent country, its landscape and living heritage. Because this is a Spartan, laborious mode of travel, it is also considered the way to travel by the purists.
There are plenty of dirt road and trails in Nepal to meet every mountain biker’s wildest fantasy. Mountain Biking is also recommended if you wish to explore the urban center such as Pokhara and Kathmandu, plus the outskirts. Mountain biking is a joy with hill trails and rough roads radiating in all directions from Dhulikhel. Motorcycling is the other mode of adventure travel. This is slightly easier way to see the sights, and cab be rented for day or longer outings. Some popular routes are Dhulikhel-Panauti-Dhulikhel, Dhulikhel- Banepa- Nala- Dhulikhel and Dhulikhel- Namura- Dapcha- Panauti- Banepa- Dhulikhel.

Mountain Biking along the dirt roads and trails of Nepal leads you to scenic destinations. 15 to 18 gear all terrain bikes can handle almost anything, making your ascent enjoyable. Mountain bikes are available for rent by the day or longer, on guided trips around the Kathmandu Valley. One speed Indian bicycles are also readily available.

Motorcycling is the other mode of adventure travel. This is a slightly easier way to see the sights, and can be rented for day or longer outings. A driver’s license is required.
